Faithful Prayers: Thanks!

THANK YOU to all our friends & family for your faithful prayers this past year for our precious premie twins, Lucy Kate (left) and Bryant (right). As you can see, your prayers worked! The twins celebrated their first birthdays in March and here they are with their proud parents,

Old Memphis Friends

These are the Corkren & Blum families; old friends of mine from the late 70s in Memphis! We all had such a blast together (most of the time!)

What a Mess!

A small tornado came zooming through our yard and many others on Mon., 5-11-09. Luckily the damage to our house is very minor. Nobody in town was hurt either. A couple horses in a nearby stable had to get stitches due to being cut by flying glass & metal. In our little neighborhood here in Hasty, our yard got hit the worst. But we're grateful because it could've been a whole lot worse.

Arrow of Light Ceremony

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later... Bobby's no longer a Cub Scout, he's now a Boy Scout. They had a real nice Crossover Ceremony at our church on Sunday. This year will be Bobby's 1st to go camping without a parent and he'll be gone a WEEK! I'm crying already!

Twins' 1st Birthday

Spring Break in MS

Bobby & I went to MS for Spring Break to visit with Charles, Lesley, Lucy Kate & Bryant. It was so good to see them all and the rest of the Johnson clan on Easter Sunday at the lodge. We had to cut our trip short due to Bobby & I catching a very nasty stomach virus. We didn't get to go visit in Helena or visit Trudy or visit my sister or my niece, among others. That part was pretty disappointing but couldn't be helped. Anyway, thanks for having us Lesley & Charles!

Our first evening in MS was my birthday so this crew surprised me with a delicious homemade strawberry cake & a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday"... thanks ya'll!
