Farewell to Jimmy

This page is dedicated to the memory of
JAMES PAUL CORKREN, JR.
"Jimmy"

A wonderful old friend; his family was like my own.
I love his sister Cindy & their mama, Mary, and brother Frankey. These pix were taken just 3 wks. ago at Jimmy's younger brother's wedding.

Kim's: 2010

Bobby & I took a road trip in July to MS & TN to visit family & friends. These pix are in reverse order; the 1st stop was Charles & Lesley's in MS; 2nd stop was Graceland; the last stop on our trip was at my sister, Kim's and Lumpy's. It was so good to see everyone!

My great niece, Paige, my sister, Kim, and I
Lumpy took Bobby fishing at the Loosahatchee River
My sweet niece, Candice :)

Graceland: July 2010

I took Bobby to Graceland on our way to my sister's. It was my 3rd time at Graceland but Bobby's first. This tour was quite different than the ones I did in the 70's and more rooms were open. The upstairs is still closed & always will be.

These awards & gold records, etc. literally fill the walls inside Elvis's racquet ball court. It's pretty amazing when you see it all like this. Plus there were many more inside the house.

It's still sad to know he's gone

Charles's: July 2010

Our first stop; We wanted to meet our new baby Emma and couldn't wait to see & hold the twins again. And of course, it was great to see Charles & Lesley with their growing family.

Here's Uncle Bobby taking the twins for a spin in their covered wagon.
